What is power quality analysis, and why does it matter?
Power quality analysis is the diagnosis of problems in the electricity itself, rather than the wiring that carries it. Issues like harmonics, voltage fluctuation, sags, swells, and unbalanced loads can cause equipment to run hot, breakers to trip for no obvious reason, motors to fail early, and sensitive electronics to behave unpredictably. Most electricians never test for these things. It is the specialty Quantum Power Quality is built around.
What does a master electrician credential mean?
A master electrician has reached the highest license level in the trade, above journeyman, and is qualified to design electrical systems, pull permits, and oversee work. Ben has held his focus in the trade for 20 years across new homes, remodels, commercial, new construction, and large industrial projects. When other electricians run into a problem they cannot solve, this is the level of experience they call.
Do you work on industrial control systems?
Yes. Industrial controls are a core part of the business. Real projects include blast freezer controls, conveyor controls and drives, off-grid transfer switches, VFD (variable frequency drive) repair, and off-grid generator and systems controls.
